You can attend as many days as you would like. We will be weeding and planting different species on each day.

Liability Release

I am volunteering of my own free will and understand that I will not receive compensation or employee benefits for this service. I am aware that participation as a volunteer may require physical requirements, i.e. standing, lifting, planting, weeding, and will require the exercise of reasonable care to avoid injury. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of the hazards and potential dangers involved, and agree to accept any and all risks of personal injury and property damage. I certify that I am in adequate physical condition to perform this work. As consideration for volunteering for Extra Terrestrial Projects, I hereby agree that I, and my assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against or sue Extra Terrestrial Projects, Keep Durham Beautiful or its employees, agents or contractors for injury or damage, whether active or passive, however caused, as a result of my volunteering. I HEREBY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL PROJECTS, KEEP DURHAM BEAUTIFUL, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND CONTRACTORS FROM ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS THAT I, MY HEIRS, GUARDIANS, AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES NOW HAVE, OR MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE, FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT.

Please Remember to ARRIVE WITH:

Clothes that can get a little dirty while you are planting. (We recommend wearing lightweight long pants.)
Closed toed shoes
A water bottle
If you are sensitive to sun, bring a hat and sunscreen
Work gloves (we will have gloves and tools available if you do not have them)

This is a socially distanced volunteer day with a maximum of 10 people at one time. Face coverings are required for everyone’s safety.
